The Malaysia Derivatives Exchange Berhad (MDEX) came into inveption on 11 June 2001 with the merger of the Kuala Lumpur Options and Financial Futures Exchange Berhad (KLOFFE) and the Commodity and Monetary Exchange of Malaysia (COMMEX Malaysia). As such, MDEX now offers derivative products that cover three different market segments, namely equity, financial and commodities.
